Stored product pests treatment preparation

Strict adherence to these instructions is a must in ridding your home of stored product pests. Failure to fully prepare limits the effectiveness of the treatment.

•  All food cabinets must be completely empty (upper and lower cabinets).
• All items must be removed from the counters and cabinets.
• Pantry must be completely emptied.
• Do not store items removed from cabinet/pantry in the same room that is to be treated.
• ALL INFESTED FOOD MUST BE SEALED AND THROWN AWAY (PUT INTO SEALABLE PLASTIC BAG AND DISPOSE OF INTO EXTERIOR TRASH BIN).
• All food not infested must be sealed in airtight containers.
• Turn off smoke alarms.
• Remove all pets and birds. Shut off air pump in fishtanks and cover. Store or cover all pet food containers and bowls.

• Do not enter for at least four hours after the treatment is completed. Immediately upon entering the treated structure, open all windows and doors and air out thoroughly.
• Do not wash your cupboards. Doing so reduces the effectiveness of the treatment.
• Do not spray or apply your own pesticides (Raid, Black Flag, Etc.). It contaminates our materials and makes our treatment less effective.
• Services carry a 30 day guarantee from the final service completed. In severe infestations, we may require two or more follow-up visits.
• If you would prefer a continuous warranty for stored product pests, you will have to sign up for a quarterly service agreement (4 visits per year). This program may cover other pests as well. Ask us for details.
